Majid Majidi, on Stage at Foreign Festival, Speaks of Minab Grief:

Our Children Were Torn to Pieces / We Will Stand Until the End

Our Children Were Torn to Pieces / We Will Stand Until the End
On the first day of the war alone, 168 innocent children were bombed in a school, in such a way that the bodies of some of these children were never found, and those who were found had been torn to pieces.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Iranian Cinema Organization, Majidi, after receiving the Best Film Award at the Busan International Film Festival, said they bombed around 150,000 residential houses, universities, schools, and hospitals, and about 4,000 to 5,000 people were killed.
Do you really think what is the crime of our people? The crime of our people is that they want to be independent and not be under oppression and colonialism, and our people are fighting for this cause and will stand until the end.
And I hope that one day the world will witness no more war, and that the world will be in peace and tranquility, and that all people can live side by side with love, unity, and brotherhood.
Hoping for the day when the world will be full of love and friendship.
